Outside my window

Here is this dreary looking day outside my window .... Would be so easy to let a day like this depress you. BUT - I am listening to Sandi Patty croon "amazing grace how sweet the sound, amazing love now flowing down, from hands and feet that we nailed to the tree, his grace flows down to cover me". Hard to be depressed when you hear that being sung so sweetly ...

Loud restaurants

Are there any quiet restaurants left ? Remember the Fogcutter? You'd walk in and step onto thick carpet and the tables were spread out so you never had to worry about bumping the neighboring patrons ... I miss restaurants like that. Just saying.

Dinner out

I had an absolutely lovely dinner out with my husband at Ruby Tuesdays - we had their shellfish trio - skewered shrimp, crab cakes and lobster tail - the plate was such a pretty presentation and I should have taken a photo of it but before I realized it my plate looked like this ....

Happy New Years ! Sorry I never responded to SK 's email but I will try to start being more bloggy. Staying at moms tonight. She fell this week and bruised up her left side pretty bad. Nothing broke thank goodness. Why do our parents have to grow old? I want mine around forever .. Miss my dad and never want to miss my mom just want her here ... Happy healthy and sassy!
